Cholesterol levels and their importance are often in the news, but very high triglycerides are also an important health risk that Americans should be aware of. Triglycerides are often called “the forgotten fat” because they tend to be overlooked by patients and doctors who only focus on lowering their cholesterol.

Rick Harrison, star of the hit show “Pawn Stars,” was recently diagnosed with very high triglycerides.   After his diagnosis he learned about an effective way to manage it.  Rick will be answering questions about his journey of discovery concerning his very high triglycerides.

Rick will also answer questions about his new game show “Pawnography,” including fun facts about the pawn shop business.   

 Joining Rick is Dr. David Sabgir, a board-certified cardiologist and renowned health and wellness expert.  He will be able to speak about why prescribing an EPA-only omega-3 is so important to lowering very high triglyceride levels.
