LET DWTS’ DEREK HOUGH LEAD YOU TO YOUR DREAM VACATION!

TRAVEL DREAMS DO COME TRUE!

Do you see an exotic travel show and say, “I wish I could do that some day?”  Many of us believe travel is important for self-growth and hope we won’t regret growing older without traveling enough.  In a recent survey by Hilton Hotels & Resorts, 86% of those who self-identified as travelers said they set goals for themselves and used visualization to motivate themselves to go from travel “dreamers” to travel “doers.”

Derek Hough is a professional Latin and ballroom dancer, and two-time Emmy winner for “Dancing With The Stars,” where he honed his abilities to motivate others on – and off — the dance floor. The choreographer, singer and dancer will star in the Broadway version of “Singin’ in the Rain” for the 2016-2017 season, playing Don Lockwood, the role Gene Kelly made famous in the 1952 film.

Derek Hough  discusses:

  • How the power of visualization helps you achieve your dreams
  • How to break down big, daunting goals into a series of doable steps
  • How to go from being a travel “dreamer” to a travel “doer”
  • How travel adventures lead to unexpected, sometimes life-changing experiences
  • How Hilton is helping people achieve their travel dreams this year – and how you can win a hotel stay at any of their hotels around the world

About Derek Hough:

Derek Hough is a master motivator both on and off the dance floor. In his book, “Taking the Lead: Lessons From a Life in Motion,” he details how he overcame bullying and other obstacles in life to achieve his dream of being a professional dancer and how he continues to use powerful motivational tools such as visualization to achieve great things in life. Derek has used the power of visualization to win world champion dancing competitions, swim with sharks in Bora Bora and launch the nationwide MOVE Live on Tour with 2-time DWTS winner and sister, Julianne.  Before being cast as the lead for the upcoming Broadway version of “Singin’ in the Rain,” Hough starred in the West End production of “Footloose,” in London.  He grew up a Mormon, in Utah, and has four sisters including sister, Julianne, who played Sandy in the recent TV adaptation of “Grease.” He’s booked recent adventure-filled trips to Fiji and Australia and is now creating vision boards to plan trips he’s always wanted to take with his parents.
